- My name is Kent Anjo, and I am a recent graduate from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada with a degree in Political Science and International Relations. In 2007/08 I was selected by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada for the Fellowship in International Development Management programme. It involved a one month training seminar in Ottawa and an eight month work placement with a partner organization in a country with AKFC programs. My peers were sent to toil in small villages and urban centres in Tajikistan, Bangladesh, India, Burkina Faso, Mali and Mozambique to name a few. I was assigned to work in the tropical spice island of Zanzibar with the Aga Khan Foundation Tanzania. This blog is a collection of stories, thoughts and opinions that surfaced during this time. They do not represent the views of any agency within the Aga Khan Development Network, or the Canadian International Development Agency.

Hey Kent,
I see your in Zanzibar now! I didn't even know you got the Aga Khan internship, congradulations. So are you going to be caught in the bowels of DFAIT now, I've now been trapped by PWGSC, so send me an email some time.
